FOR A SHORT WHILE IT WILL BE WINTER IN CALIFORNIA
On our coast and the inland valleys winter is mild it's mainly a matter of color changing and some rain before the return of sunshine. This doesn't mean that
winter doesn't arrive in all it's snowy splendor in California. Just head east to the Sierra Nevada mountain range and all memory of sunny beaches will be quickly forgotten. Our "endless summer beach boys" image doesn't quite extend across the entire state.
For now, here on the coast, the plants are resting, the vineyards have given up their grapes and warm fires are being lit during the Holiday Season.
